Daniel Holman is an accomplished data science professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Thrivent since December 2023. Previously, Daniel held senior roles at Toyota Connected North America, where responsibilities included advancing data science initiatives as a Senior Managing Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist. Daniel's career began at State Farm ®, progressing from Senior Data Scientist to Senior Manager, and focused on optimizing the data science model life cycle and leading a team of engineers in high-performance analytics. Earlier experience also includes significant contributions in machine learning and software development at Texas A&M AgriLife Research, including leadership in GIS applications and advanced statistical techniques. Daniel holds a PhD candidacy in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas Tech University.
