David Spangler

David Spangler, CFA, is a seasoned investment professional with over two decades of experience in asset management. Currently serving as the Head of Mixed-Asset and Market Strategies and Senior Portfolio Manager at Thrivent Asset Management since October 2002, Spangler oversees the asset allocation group responsible for managing over $40 billion in assets, focusing on the development of strategic and tactical asset allocation models. Prior to Thrivent, Spangler held the role of Vice President in Investment Product Development at Wells Fargo and was a Vice President & Product Manager at US Bank. Spangler holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics and Management from Beloit College.
