Dj Johnson

DJ Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. DJ recently joined Thrivent as a Market Director in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Equitable Advisors from 2021 to 2022 as a Financial Professional, where they focused on maintaining client relationships and recruiting and training new associates. From 2019 to 2021, DJ held various roles at New York Life Insurance Company, including Partner and Agent. DJ also served as the Vice President of Agency at MassMutual Greater Richmond from 2017 to 2019. DJ has extensive experience with New York Life, where they worked as a Partner from 2003 to 2017, focusing on recruiting and developing individuals with strong business acumen. Earlier in their career, they worked at MetLife and Monumental Life Insurance as an agent. DJ's career started in the U.S. Coast Guard, where they served as a crew member from 1997 to 2001.

DJ Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Richmond from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they received a diploma from Altavisa High School from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, DJ Johnson holds certifications in Finra Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 66 from FINRA.
