Joe Scarano

Joe Scarano is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product and user experience design. Currently serving as the Head of Design at Thriveworks since May 2022, Scarano oversees brand refresh initiatives and the redesign of core products along with the implementation of design systems. Prior to this role, Scarano held the position of VP of Product Design at Care.com, leading an international team to strategically address customer and business needs. Scarano's earlier roles include Senior Product Designer at Daily Burn, User Experience Lead at Consumer Reports, Online Art Director at Direct Group North America, Web Designer at United Media, and Graphic Designer at United Media, where foundational design skills were developed. Education was obtained from the State University of New York System between 1993 and 1997.
