Latoya Renea Smith

Latoya Renea Smith is a dedicated clinician with extensive experience in mental health counseling and school guidance services. Currently, Latoya serves as a clinician at Thriveworks, providing integrated and compassionate counseling services to a diverse clientele, including seniors, adults, adolescents, families, and couples. Additionally, Latoya holds clinician positions at The Healing Trees and previously at Life & Comfort Counseling. Latoya's background includes significant roles as a school counselor, where responsibilities encompassed coordination of parent and community outreach, transition services, and individual/group counseling to support students in alternative education settings. Latoya's international experience includes working with the Peace Corps in rural South Africa, enhancing community morale and promoting education among youth. Latoya earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mary Washington College.
