Rachel Block-Stewart

Rachel Block-Stewart, LMHC, C-IAYT, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in various counseling roles. Currently serving as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Thriveworks since May 2021, Rachel previously worked as a Licensed Clinical Supervisor and Therapist at Child Guidance Center, Inc. from April 2015 to December 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a School Counselor at Rymfire Elementary School, where Rachel facilitated targeted problem-solving teams and provided individual and group counseling. Rachel also contributed as a Yoga Instructor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and held seasonal roles as an Academic Counselor and Seasonal Resident Advisor Supervisor at Johns Hopkins University. Furthermore, Rachel's early experience includes a School Counselor Intern position at Mountain View Middle School, volunteer advocacy with Lutheran Community Services Northwest, and teaching first-grade students at Temple Beth Shalom. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus on School Counseling from Eastern Washington University, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health from the University of Maryland.
