Since its founding in 1977, Through the Flower's mission is to highlight women's achievements and create a cultural legacy built upon the vision embodied by the work of Judy Chicago through education, exhibition, and preservation. Our work evolves from the philosophy of Judy Chicago who is committed to the idea that every individual has something worthwhile to say. This philosophy has guided her collaborative art projects, educational programs, and her approach to organizational structures.
