Noraini de Roock, AMFT, serves as a Teaching Assistant for "Trauma, Crisis & Recovery-Oriented Practice" at the California Institute of Integral Studies since May 2024. Serving Families with Disabilities since 1982, Through the Looking Glass (TLG) is a disability community based nonprofit organization that emerged from the independent living movement. TLG’s vision is to create, demonstrate and encourage non-pathological and empowering resources and model supports throughout parenting in families with disability issues in child, parent, or grandparent in an effort to improve national practice, inform public policy, and reduce social obstacles experienced by families with disabilities.
