Noraini de Roock

Noraini de Roock, AMFT, serves as a Teaching Assistant for "Trauma, Crisis & Recovery-Oriented Practice" at the California Institute of Integral Studies since May 2024. Concurrently, Noraini works as a Family Clinician and Infant Development Specialist at Through the Looking Glass. Previously, Noraini gained experience as a Clinical Trainee at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, and worked as a Research Officer at Singapore Children's Society, where responsibilities included conducting research on social issues affecting children and families. Noraini also held positions at the Ministry of Social and Family Development in Singapore, where leadership in child protection intake was essential, and at the Centre for Evidence and Implementation, contributing to project management and research evaluation. An educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Sydney.
