Jared Carlin

Jared Carlin currently serves as the Director of Development for Through the Staff, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to music education. In this role, Jared leads efforts to establish partnerships, secure resources, and support initiatives aimed at removing barriers for aspiring student musicians. Previously, Jared held positions at Blackhawk Area Council from September 2011 to July 2019, including District Director, where membership campaigns achieved annual growth rates of 9.5% and 5%, and Senior District Executive, organizing a fundraising campaign with a 14.9% year-over-year growth rate. Earlier experience includes work as an Education Consultant/Admissions Representative at ESM and a District Executive/Outdoor Program Director with the Denver Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Jared's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting from Western Illinois University, with ongoing education at CyberUp.
