Kieron P. Funk

Kieron P. Funk is a Project Engineer at Thüga Aktiengesellschaft, involved in the integration of hydrogen into heating networks and large-scale battery systems as part of the WESTKÜSTE100 project, aimed at establishing a regional hydrogen economy in northern Germany. Previously, Kieron served as a Freelance Project Manager for BenBau Group, managing construction projects and coordinating resources. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Technische Universiteit Delft, Kieron taught Engineering Optimization and Integrated Renewables in Electricity Markets. Kieron's experience also includes a Logistics Planning Internship at BMW Manufacturing Co., where responsibilities included analyzing hydrogen supply logistics and improving chemical storage processes. Additional roles include site coordination for data center construction at BenBau Management GmbH and an office assistant position at Prüfer & Partner GbR. Kieron holds a Master of Science in Complex Systems Engineering and Management from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Technische Hochschule Ulm.
