Peter Karlsson

Peter Karlsson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Peter started their career as a Quality Engineer at Götarps Industri AB from March 1990 to January 1992. Peter then joined Thule Group in April 1992 and held various roles over the years. These roles include Design Engineer, where they were responsible for CAD design work and IT infrastructure maintenance, Project Manager, managing development projects and implementing PDM systems, Senior Project Manager, handling automotive projects for clients such as Ford and Landrover, and OES R&D Manager, leading a team of design engineers and project managers. Peter eventually became Director of OES Development, overseeing development activities within the OES business unit. From October 2021 to June 2023, they served as Global Director of Project Management, responsible for project management on a global level. Currently, since June 2023, they hold the position of VP Product Development S&C excl. Bike, overseeing product development for Thule Group.

Peter Karlsson attended Gärdesskolan in Gislaved from 1985 to 1988. Following this, they went on to Erikdahlbergsgymnasiet in Jönköping from 1988 to 1989, but no specific degree or field of study is provided for either institution.
