Abdurrezak Efe

Abdurrezak EFE is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at Thumb Technologies since June 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Research Engineer at Huawei from July 2021 to June 2022, where Abdurrezak contributed to the development of NLP algorithms for Petal Search, particularly a BERT-based proximity model. As a researcher at the UNAM Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology from September 2018 to July 2021, Abdurrezak designed advanced algorithms for Spiking Neural Networks utilizing STDP and Evolutionary Algorithms. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Bilkent University for Physics labs, interning as a Deep Learning intern at METU, and optimizing searching algorithms during a software engineering internship at 8bit.ai.
