Akiko Pace

Akiko Pace is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and strategic management. Currently serving as a Commercial Strategy Manager and Business Operations Manager at Thumbtack since May 2022, Akiko focuses on enhancing efficiency and profitability, overseeing refund policies, and collaborating with product teams. Prior to this, Akiko held the role of Refunds Operations Manager and Manager of Operations at Barnett Capital Ltd. from May 2018 to April 2022, directing all facets of operations to maximize effectiveness. As the founder and President of Learniffic.com LLC, an e-learning start-up, Akiko aimed to revolutionize education through technology. Additional experience includes chairing a school lunch committee at Nishimachi International School and working as a Research Assistant at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Akiko Pace holds a Master of International Affairs in East Asian Studies from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, complemented by studies at Beijing Language and Culture University, Waseda University, and Georgetown University.
