Tin Chi Yeung (Peter)

Tin Chi (Peter) Yeung has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering, with a focus on iOS development. Tin Chi (Peter) has held various roles at different companies over the years.

In 2010, Yeung worked as a QA Engineer at NGRAIN for a period of 7 months. Tin Chi (Peter) then moved on to a similar role as a QA Engineer at Ericsson in 2011.

Later in 2011, Yeung joined Inventive Touch as a Software Developer, where they stayed for 7 months.

In 2012, Yeung worked as a Software Engineer at 14 Oranges, where they developed the iOS scavenger hunt app, Questogo.

From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Plentyoffish.com as an iOS Mobile Developer. During their time there, they worked on significant projects such as a complete rewrite of the POF's iPhone and iPad app and the implementation of an audio message feature.

In 2014, Yeung co-created Puzzler - Jigsaw, a social game where users can share photos and turn them into jigsaw puzzles.

Tin Chi (Peter) then joined DoubleDutch in 2015 as an iOS Engineer/Tech Lead Consumer.

Currently, Yeung is working at Thumbtack as the Director of Engineering, a role they started in 2022. Prior to this position, they held roles such as Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager at the same company.

From 2006 to 2013, Tin Chi (Peter) Yeung attended the University of British Columbia. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with a focus on Computer Engineering and Software Option.
