Vineet Baldwa

Vineet Baldwa is a seasoned software engineer with significant experience in building and optimizing customer-facing applications and infrastructure. Currently part of the Customer Experience team at Thumbtack since April 2019, Vineet develops scalable microservices and APIs using Golang, Thrift RPCs, GraphQL, and React/Typescript, while also focusing on system architecture and feature iteration. Prior experience includes a software developer role at Groupon, where Vineet worked on large-scale web and mobile applications with Node.js and (p)react, and a software developer engineer position at Amazon, contributing to features for the Webstore. Vineet began a career as an analyst at HSBC, formulating corporate strategy and analyzing financial data. Educational credentials include a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
