Amia Moore

Amia Moore serves as the Director of Youth Leadership Development at Thunder Valley Community Development Corporation since December 2023. Previously, Amia worked as the Manager of Scholar Advocacy at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund from July 2021 to May 2023, and as the Director/Counselor for a SAMHSA Grant at Marty Indian School between October 2019 and July 2021. Earlier roles include Student Advisor, Department Head, and Instructor at Ihanktonwan Community College from November 2016 to July 2020, and Deputy Court Clerk and Court Services Secretary at the South Dakota Unified Judicial System from November 2015 to July 2020. Amia's career began as a Health Educator at Great Plains Tribal Leader's Health Board from May 2013 to August 2014. Amia holds a Master of Arts degree from Sinte Gleska College, along with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Oglala Lakota College, and additional education from North Dakota State University.
