Brian Paes-Braga

Brian is the Thunderbird Entertainment Chair and sits on the board of DeepGreen Metals Inc. He is also Principal, Head of Merchant Banking at SAF Group, a leading structured credit and merchant banking group. They work with high growth companies to provide flexible and long-term capital solutions to public and private corporations with stable returns for investors. Brian was Founder and CEO of Lithium X Energy Corp., which raised approximately $53 million and sold for $265 million within 2.5 years. Brian is an International Crisis Group advisory council member. His private family foundation, Quiet Cove Foundation, supports charities and research groups to source innovative solutions to large scale social issues. Brian currently attends Harvard Business School’s Owners, Presidents and Management program.
