Brendan Abolivier

Brendan Abolivier is a Senior Software Engineer currently contributing to the backend maintenance and evolution of the Thunderbird application at Mozilla. Since June 2023, Brendan has led efforts to integrate Microsoft Exchange support into Thunderbird, marking a significant advancement for the application. Prior experience includes roles at Onmo, where Brendan improved backend development practices, and Element, focusing on the Matrix.org backend, particularly the Synapse homeserver. Additional experience encompasses systems engineering at Cozy Cloud, where Brendan set up observability tools, and an internship at Harmonic that involved enhancing video processing libraries. Brendan holds an engineering degree from the Institut supérieur d'électronique et du numérique.
