Nikki Fisher

Nikki Fisher is an accomplished professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Head of Sustainability at Thungela since June 2021, focusing on ESG reporting, strategy development, and climate change initiatives. Previously, Nikki held the role of Coal Stewardship and Carbon Footprint Manager at Anglo Coal, specializing in minimizing the downstream impacts of coal. Nikki's career also includes experience as a Senior Environmental Scientist at SRK Consulting, where emphasis was placed on environmental and social impact assessments, and as an Environmental Consultant at Oryx Environmental. Nikki holds a Master’s degree in Ecology with a focus on Biogeochemistry from the School of Animal, Plant and Environmental Science (1999-2005) and completed a Program for Management Excellence at GIBS Business School in 2013.
