Rashid Ahmad Baba

Rashid Ahmad Baba has extensive experience in product management and business operations. Rashid Ahmad began their career at VSNL (now Tata Communications) in 1995 as a Product Manager, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, Rashid started working for Thuraya Telecommunications Company, initially as a Group Product Manager before progressing to Executive Manager of Product Management and later Director of Product Management. In these roles, they were responsible for managing the product portfolio and introducing groundbreaking products such as Thuraya SatSleeve and Thuraya XT-LITE. Since January 2017, Rashid has held the position of Vice President of Product Management & Business Operations at Thuraya, where they have focused on strengthening and enhancing the company's product and service portfolio.

Rashid Ahmad Baba completed their Matriculation in Science at New Era Public School in 1983. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Marketing at the University of Kashmir from 1991 to 1994.
