Thuringian Renewable Energies Network (ThEEN e.V.)
Christoph Frenkel is currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director, Project Leader, and Project Manager of Innovation at Thüringer Erneuerbare Energien Netzwerk (ThEEN) since June 2019. Prior to this, Christoph worked as an Advisor for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH from August 2015 to June 2019. Christoph also held the position of Engineer in R&D Coordination and Public Funded Projects at SMA Solar Technology AG from 2012 to 2015. Christoph holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency from the University of Kassel (2007-2009) and a Dipl.-Ing. in Process Engineering from TU Bergakademie Freiberg (2002-2007).
