Deborah Vinsel

Deborah Vinsel is the CEO of Thurston Community Media. Deborah has over two decades of experience in media production and management.

Deborah began their career as a Manager/Instructor at the North Orange County Regional Occupational Program, where they developed and implemented curriculum for all aspects of video production, including program development, equipment operation, and producing/directing. Deborah also managed the community media facility as part of the instructional contract.

After three years, Deborah moved to Waycross Community Media, where they served as Studio Operations Manager. In this role, they were responsible for training and media production, facility operations, and volunteer management.

After four years at Waycross Community Media, Deborah became a consultant and then Communications Director at Ramada Cincinnati Northeast. In their role as Communications Director, Deborah was responsible for all aspects of the hotel's communications, including public relations, advertising, media relations, and community relations.

After a decade of experience in the media industry, Deborah became CEO of Thurston Community Media, where they continue to lead the organization in its mission to provide access to media production facilities, training, and resources to the Thurston County community.

Deborah Vinsel would have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Television Production from Ohio University.
