Kaelyn Holten

Kaelyn Holten is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in fiscal management and project oversight. Currently serving in an accounting role at Thurston County Government since May 2020, Kaelyn manages project finances, monitors burn rates, and oversees budget forecasting. As the owner of Ocean to Summit Accounting LLC since September 2020, Kaelyn provides bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll services. Previous experience includes working as an office engineer at KPG, where responsibilities included monitoring grant contracts and maintaining compliance with federal requirements, as well as serving as office manager at Craftsman Construction, Inc, and co-owner of Oakes Fencing, where expertise in budgeting, invoicing, and contract negotiation was crucial. Kaelyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Accounting from Western Governors University, supplemented by education from San Diego State University and Pierce College at Puyallup.
