Nasir Kazmi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and international development. Currently serving as an Associate Partner at Thuso and a Non-Executive Director at the Council for Education in the Commonwealth since March 2024, Nasir previously held the position of Lead Adviser - System Strengthening at Education Development Trust until February 2024. With a significant tenure at The Commonwealth as an Education Adviser from May 2010 to March 2022 and experience as Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Higher Education Program, Nasir has contributed to various educational initiatives globally. Additional leadership roles include Director at the British Council in Islamabad and Programme Manager, complemented by earlier experience as a Programme Associate at UNDP and a Research Officer at HEC Pakistan. Nasir holds an MBA in International Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, an MSc in International Relations from Quaid-i-Azam University, and a BA in Economics & Statistics from the University of the Punjab.
