THYKK was created by two sisters with the intention of giving women the power to feel how beautiful, confident and fearless they can be.

Ingunn and Signy both reside in Canada and were born and raised in Iceland. They chose the name THYKK because of its positivity and the thick quality of the hair they work with. THYKK is pronounced and has the same meaning in both English and Icelandic, their native tongue.
