Carolyn Buys

Carolyn Buys has seven years of professional experience. Carolyn began their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University, where they performed data analysis and literature review to contribute to academic studies on global education inequality and the effectiveness of human trafficking policies in the U.S. In 2014, they worked as a Business Development Intern for MAISON by Caroline. In 2015, they were a Research and Policy Intern for the Economic Policy Research Institute. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Advisory Board, where they held the roles of Consultant, Senior Analyst, Analyst, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate. In 2020, they joined Aspire Health, Inc. as Manager, Growth & Partnerships and Senior Associate, Business Development. Carolyn is currently employed at Thyme Care as Corporate Strategy Manager.

Carolyn Buys received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human & Organizational Development, International Leadership & Development track, with an Economics minor from Vanderbilt University from 2012 to 2016. In 2014, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Carolyn also graduated from West Ottawa High School between 2008 and 2012.
