Charles Cahoon

Charles Cahoon has over 17 years of professional experience in the tech industry. In 2005, they began their career as a Lab Intern at Symantec. In 2007, they participated in the Google Summer of Code program at MySQL. In 2008, they returned to Symantec as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2015, they were a Co-Founder and Technical Lead at Memoticon and a Lead Engineer at AirMap. In 2017, they were a Lead Software Architect at HackEDU. In 2018, they were a Technical Director at Symantec. In 2019, they were Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect at Smarter Sorting. Currently, they are a Platform Engineer at Thyme Care.

Charles Cahoon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from William & Mary in 2008. Charles has also obtained three certifications: Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in May 2022, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach from Coursera in May 2021, and Machine Learning from Coursera in March 2021.
