Florian Zimmer

Florian Zimmer has a diverse and extensive work experience in the marine industry. Florian is currently the Head of Sales Key Account Germany at thyssenkrupp Marine Systems. Prior to this, Florian served as the Sales Director Naval Vessels at ABEKING & RASMUSSEN Schiffs- und Yachtwerft SE. Florian also worked as the Manager International Sales at Rheinmetall Electronics for five years. Florian took a Sabbatical year from 2016 to 2017. Before that, they were a Projektmanager at Nobiskrug GmbH. Florian started their career in 2002 as an Offizier in the Deutsche Marine, where they served for 13 years.

Florian Zimmer received their Dipl.-Pol. degree in Politikwissenschaft from the Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg in 2007. Florian then pursued further education and obtained a Master (MBC) degree in Business Consulting from Hochschule Wismar from 2013 to 2015.
