Adrian Schaffranietz

Adrian Schaffranietz currently serves as the Director of External and Internal Communications at thyssenkrupp nucera since January 2025. Prior to this role, Adrian worked at Uniper from January 2016 to December 2024 as the COO Spokesperson and Coordinator for Hydrogen Communications and Government Relations. Additionally, Adrian held the position of Head of Government Relations Coordination and Stakeholder Management on secondment at Nord Stream 2 AG from February 2016 to June 2022. Earlier in the career, Adrian was the Head of International Press Global Gas at E.ON between January 2012 and December 2015 and served as the Abteilungsleiter/Vice President for International Press and Media Services at E·ON Ruhrgas from March 2008 to December 2011. Adrian completed a PhD in Media Science at Leipzig University and holds a Master's degree in Communications Science, Psychology, and Linguistics from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
