Mark Urban

Mark Urban has a strong background in procurement and purchasing. Mark started their career in 2004 as an Assistant Category Manager at Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte AG, where they worked until 2009. Mark then joined Baumarkt Praktiker Deutschland GmbH as a Purchaser until 2011. In 2011, they took on the role of Head of Steel Purchasing at thyssenkrupp Gerlach GmbH until 2013. Mark then moved to thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies, where they held various roles including Head of Procurement for thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies Automotive Europe and Global Head of Procurement.

Mark Urban earned a Diplom-Betriebswirt degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Berufsakademie Eisenach und Gera, Staatliche Studienakademie Thüringen, from 2001 to 2004.
