Nikou Guennemann

Nikou Guennemann currently serves as the Head of Data Analytics and AI at thyssenkrupp, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Nikou was the Team Lead for Machine Learning and Principal ML Engineer at Celonis from 2021 to June 2023. Nikou's experience includes working as a Research Scientist at Siemens Corporate Technology from March 2018 to April 2021, focusing on artificial intelligence and data analytics, including project budgeting. Before Siemens, Nikou held the role of Data Scientist and PhD Researcher at BMW Group from February 2016 to February 2018, with research concentrated on event and anomaly detection in time series data. Earlier roles include a Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, where automated models for anomaly detection in recommendation systems were developed, and a Student Assistant for Research and Development at RWTH Aachen University. Nikou holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich and a Master of Science in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University.
