Brian Young

Brian Young is currently the Director of Insider Threat and Data Loss Prevention at TIAA, where they are leading the development of the Insider Threat program and integrating it into the broader Cyber Security framework. With a BA in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Brian has a diverse technical background in IT and Cybersecurity, complemented by strong communication skills. Their past roles include Senior Security Manager at Duke Energy Corporation, where they managed the Security Operations Center and developed cybersecurity strategies for merging IT and OT environments. They also served as a Solutions Integration Engineer at Microsoft, providing high-level technical support across various technologies.
