Dave Pflug

Dave Pflug is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in strategic planning and continuous improvement, currently serving as Managing Director of Enterprise Strategic Planning at TIAA since March 2011. In this role, Dave leads the annual planning process for a $300M strategic portfolio, emphasizing outcomes and cross-organizational partnerships. Previously, as Managing Director of Enterprise Continuous Improvement at TIAA, Dave oversaw a 26-person Center of Excellence, significantly enhancing productivity and customer experience. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Partner and Senior Practice Expert at McKinsey & Company, where Dave implemented organizational transformations and strategy development for global clients, and roles at Quantum Energy Technologies and the USAF, where foundational skills in engineering and communications were developed. Dave holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
