Dean Perry

Dean Perry has extensive experience in financial analysis, currently serving as Vice President and Securities Analyst at TIAA-CREF since November 2008, focusing on Japanese financials and real estate from the San Francisco office. Prior to this, Dean worked as a Senior Analyst at Swiftsure Capital between January 2004 and November 2007, specializing in Japanese equities for a UK-based long-short hedge fund. Dean's career began at ING Baring Securities in Japan, where responsibilities as a Senior Analyst included equity research on Japanese non-bank financials from September 1999 to December 2002. Dean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia College, Columbia University, completed between 1980 and 1984, and attended Newtown High School from 1978 to 1980.
