Risa Lavizzo-Mourey

Risa Lavizzo-Mourey is the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Population Health and Health Equity Professor Emerita at the University of Pennsylvania. She served as president and chief executive officer of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation from 2003 to 2017, where she served as Senior Vice President from 2001 to 2003. From 1986 to 2001, she was a distinguished professor and administrator at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lavizzo-Mourey is a member of the boards of General Electric, Merck, Intel, and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She is a member of the Smithsonian Institution Board of Regents. She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and The American Philosophical Society. Dr. Lavizzo-Mourey holds an M.D. from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
