Surya Madiraju

Surya Madiraju is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management, financial crime prevention, and operations within the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Head of Robotics and Business Data Management in the Operations & Customer Service Group at TIAA since 2014, Surya also leads the Enterprise Financial Crimes Prevention Program, focusing on data quality and governance. Prior to TIAA, Surya held multiple senior roles at Bank of America, including Senior Vice President for Financial Crimes Compliance and Enterprise Data Quality, effectively managing large teams and budgets while enhancing operational controls and data governance. Surya’s earlier career includes significant positions at Danlaw Inc, 4CS, and Satyam Computer Services Limited, contributing to software development and project management. Surya holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and advanced degrees in Computer Science and Applications from recognized institutions.
