Denis FALCK is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering, innovation, and leadership across various industries. Currently serving as the Industrial Director at Tiamat Energy since November 2022, Denis is focused on the industrialization of sodium-ion battery technology. As CTO of RED Electric since June 2021, Denis oversees industrial and R&D activities for light electrical mobility solutions, including a startup initiative in Shanghai for maxi scooters production. Previous roles include Research & Innovation Program Manager at Valeo, where Denis developed optronic sensors for autonomous vehicles, and Project Engineering & Innovation Manager at Alstom Power, leading engineering teams on nuclear projects and cost excellence programs. Additionally, Denis has entrepreneurial experience as the founder of WaooImage and has held significant positions at Renault, contributing to electric vehicle architecture and innovations. Denis holds an engineering degree from Arts et Métiers ParisTech.

The Na-ion technology used in Tiamat 18650 cells presents outstanding properties for power applications, fast charging, and enhanced cycle life. Tiamat aims to further develop itstechnology in the years to come and to qualify its prototypes in collaboration with many industrial partners and end users.
