Michael Breen

Michael Breen has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical research. Michael is currently working as a Scientist at Tiba Biotech since March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student at Boston University School of Medicine from August 2016 to November 2022, where they studied lung B cell populations in the lung after influenza A virus infection and successfully obtained their Ph.D. Michael also worked as a Postbaccalaureate Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from June 2015 to July 2016. In addition, Michael served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rochester from 2013 to May 2015, and as a General Chemistry Teaching Assistant from August 2012 to May 2013.

Michael Breen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Rochester between 2011 and 2015. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology and Immunology at the Boston University School of Medicine from 2016 to 2022.
