Maren Fockens has a diverse range of work experience. Maren started their career at Enercon GmbH in 2008, where they participated in an integrated degree program in Business Administration until 2011. After that, they worked at various companies, including City-Management Oldenburg and Wobben Windpower, where they gained experience in project management and provided assistance to company executives. In 2013, they joined ENERCON as an Assistance to the Head of Logistics and later became an Ideas & Project Portfolio Manager. In 2016, they joined Tiba Management Consulting as the Head of Competence Center Change Management & Culture.

Maren Fockens has a diverse education history. In 2021, they pursued a guest program in the MBA program on Sustainability Management at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, focusing on Sustainable Innovation Management. Prior to that, in 2016-2017, they completed a Communication Manager program at Deutsche Presseakademie (depak), specializing in Public Relations and Communication Management. In 2012-2013, they studied Supply Chain Management and Business Development by Product Innovation at Linnaeus University without obtaining a specific degree. Before that, from 2011 to 2013, Maren Fockens earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economic and Law from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Maren began their educational journey by completing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) program in Controlling, Financial Management, and Logistics at Berufsakademie Ost-Friesland Leer from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including Nachhaltigkeitsinnovation, Radical Collaboration, Certified Change Practitioner, Design Thinking Agile Methoden und Design Thinking verstehen und anwenden, Professional Scrum MasterTM, and Projektmanagement-Fachmann IPMA Level D®.
