Merlin Lauenburg

Merlin Lauenburg is an experienced executive in the fields of venture development and business management, currently serving as Managing Director for Tibber in Germany since April 2023. Previously, Lauenburg held significant roles at Viessmann, including Head of Venture Development & Portfolio Management and Head of Venture Development, where strategic initiatives focused on innovative climate solutions and enhancing existing ventures. Lauenburg also co-founded FörderProfi GmbH, a GovTech venture enabling streamlined subsidy applications for climate-friendly investments. Other notable positions include interim leadership at Jumia Group in Ghana and entrepreneurial support at Quarters Co-Living. Lauenburg's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Finance & Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in International Business from Grenoble Ecole de Management and the University of Groningen.
