Richard Stanfield has more than 30 years of experience with several successful technology companies in the communications and digital media sectors.
Mr. Stanfield was the CEO of Imagine Communications, a leading innovator in digital video solutions, enabling content providers and system operators (cable companies and telephone companies) to deliver high-quality video to TVs and PCs as well as mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets in TV Anywhere applications. He led the sale of the company to Harris Broadcast Corporation in January 2014.
Prior to Imagine, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Envivio, Inc. Before that, he was with Modulus Video as EVP Field Operations, resulting in the sale of the company to Motorola in 2007. Richard was Co-Founder of Turin Networks, a Sequoia Capital funded, multi-service Ethernet switching platform that sold to major service providers around the world. Turin Networks merged as equals with Force10 and the combined company was sold to Dell Computer. He was VP of Sales and an executive officer for AFC, resulting in a highly successful IPO in 1996.
Richard is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ascend Wireless Networks and he is currently on the Advisory Board for Vasona Networks. He has a B.S. degree from Texas A&M University.
