Ed Gillett

Ed Gillett has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 1998, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer on projects for Microsoft and ContactCenterWorld.com. From 2000 to 2002, they served as a Senior Developer and Development Manager at Breakfast of Champions, where they led a team of web developers and worked on the development of a logistics management system. From 2002 to 2007, they held the position of Lead Developer and Development Manager at UTL UK Ltd and was responsible for the development and maintenance of internet projects. Ed then became a Principal Consultant specializing in Business Intelligence at Altius Consulting Ltd from 2007 to 2011, working with clients like Regus and Home Office. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as the Head of Engineering and Technical Architect at Ingenie Limited, leading the development of their systems. Ed then joined CBRE UK as a Solutions Architect on a contract basis from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their current role, they were the Director and Solutions Architect at HitF5 Ltd, specializing in Cloud Systems Architecture and DevOps. Since 2018, they have been serving as the Head of Engineering at Ticker, a full-stack motor MGA.

Ed Gillett attended St Peter's Sixth Form College in Guildford from 1996 to 1998, where they completed their High School education. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained several from Microsoft, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in 2012, MCSA: SQL Server 2008 in 2012, MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Service Communication Applications in 2011, MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications in 2011, and MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer 2008 in 2011. Furthermore, they acquired AWS certifications from Amazon Web Services, which include AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, all obtained in November 2017.
