Joeri Nortier

Joeri Nortier has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Joeri is currently working as a Senior Product Manager at TicketSwap since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at FD Mediagroep for five years, starting in September 2016 and leaving in February 2021. During their time there, they held the position of Product Manager and was responsible for digital innovation, strategy, and development of multiple digital products. Some notable achievements include leading the transformation of the BNR.nl website to focus on podcasts, achieving significant growth in podcast plays and site visitors. Joeri also led the redesign and development of the BNR app, resulting in improved user ratings and reviews. Additionally, they played a key role in setting up a multi-disciplinary team for BNR On Demand and led the implementation of a new podcast monetization infrastructure.

Before joining FD Mediagroep, Joeri worked at SURFmarket as a Project Coordinator and Junior Project Manager from January 2015 to August 2016. Prior to that, they held the role of Project Coordinator IT & Research from April 2013 to December 2014.

Joeri Nortier also has experience working at Stichting Studiekeuze123, where they served as a Product Manager from January 2014 to August 2016. Joeri also worked as a Project Employee from September 2012 to December 2013 and started as a Project Assistant in November 2007 until August 2012.

Furthermore, Joeri served as a Faculty Board Member at Utrecht University from September 2008 to July 2010. Joeri began their career as a Callcenter Agent at Agis Zorgverzekeringen from October 2006 to April 2007.

Joeri Nortier has a strong educational background in urban planning and geography. Joeri obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Geography & Planning from Utrecht University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning at Utrecht University from 2010 to 2011. During their Master's studies, Joeri also had the opportunity to expand their knowledge at The University of Hong Kong with a focus on urban planning.

Prior to their university studies, Joeri attended Christelijk Gymnasium Utrecht from 2000 to 2006, where they achieved their high school diploma. Before that, they received their foundational education at Vrije School Utrecht from 1992 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Joeri has also obtained various certifications. These include Eerste Hulp (First Aid) from Het Oranje Kruis in January 2016, PADI Open Water Diver from PADI in February 2015, Diploma Basisopleiding Bedrijfshulpverlener (BHV) from NIBHV in December 2014, PRINCE2 Foundation from APMG-International in December 2013, and Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in January 2017. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning and professional development in various domains.
