From 2008 to 2012, Niels worked at Effectory as an Online Marketeer, where they focused on optimizing Google Adwords, SEO, and the company's website. In 2013, they interned at Stolen Couch Games. Then, in 2014, Niels had various roles, including being an Online Marketeer at bunq.com, a Digital Social Innovation Researcher (internship) at Waag Society, and working as a Communicatie and Baliemedewerker at Pakhuis de Zwijger. In 2016, they worked as a Test Automation Engineer at Sogeti Nederland and as a Test Engineer at Camarilla. From 2017 to 2020, Niels was an iOS App Developer at Appical - the app for new hire success. Currently, since 2020, they are working as an iOS Developer at TicketSwap.
Niels Hoogendoorn has a bachelor's degree in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam, which they obtained from 2006 to 2011. From 2012 to 2014, they pursued their master's degree in New Media & Digital Culture from Utrecht University. In 2017, Niels attended Growth Tribe, where they focused on Growth Hacking.
