Robert Benton, CSP has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental health and safety. Robert has served as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at TICO since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at JCB North America as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager and at Gulfstream Aerospace as an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for managing various safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, investigating injuries, and conducting training. Robert also has experience in corporate environmental and safety engineering, having worked at Atlantic Wood Industries, Inc. Robert began their career as an Environmental Compliance Specialist at the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division.
Robert Benton, CSP completed their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health Science from The University of Georgia, where they studied from 1995 to 1997.
