Sara Pocock has been working in the animation industry since 2005. Sara began their career at Nicktoons Network as an Animator, where they were responsible for storyboarding, character design, animatic, pencil animation, clean-up work, coloring, and editing. In 2007, they moved to X Design Studios, Inc., where they worked as an Animator and Designer, designing and completing Flash animation for original games and animation. In 2008, they took on a Freelance Animator role at MAKE Visual, completing keyframe and breakdown animation for two Blue Cross/Blue Shield commercial spots. In 2009, they were a Animation Teacher at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, organizing and teaching a two-week course for the Summer Expressions program. In 2010, they joined WayForward Technologies as an Art Director and Animator, creating 2D character animation for video games. In 2013, they became an Animator at Six Point Harness. In 2014, they worked as an Animator at Cartoon Network Studios and as a Freelance Animator at Starburns Industries. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Animator at BuzzFeed, producing short form content created for a variety of platforms. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been the Studio Art Lead and Art Director at Tic Toc Games.
Sara Pocock obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts between 2009 and 2012. Sara completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design between 2002 and 2006. In 2004, they participated in a Study Abroad program at the Burren College of Art, focusing on Drawing and Animation.
