Nilmi Nawalage

Nilmi Nawalage started their work experience in 2011 as an Associate Engineer at Virtusa. Nilmi eventually worked their way up to become a Senior Consultant-Technology (Tech Lead) before leaving in 2017. During their time at Virtusa, they implemented several large and medium-scale applications for various clients using .NET, C#, MVC, and other technologies.

After leaving Virtusa, Nilmi joined TIQRI in 2017 as an Associate Tech Lead. Nilmi was later promoted to Tech Lead and was responsible for designing and implementing multiple medium-scale applications for clients like AMEX Saudi Arabia and Cushman and Wakefield. Nilmi used technologies such as .NET Core, Angular, Web API, and SQL Server.

Most recently, Nilmi joined Tic:Toc in 2021 as a Software Engineer.

Nilmi Nawalage completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Enterprise Applications Development from Sheffield Hallam University, studying from 2014-2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bsc Special (Hons) degree in IT from SLIIT, studying from 2007-2011. Their earlier education was at Mahamaya Girls' College Kandy from 1992-2006, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
