Ramesh Raliya has an extensive work experience in the field of nanotechnology and agricultural research. Ramesh is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at both Tidal Grow AgriScience and Tidal Vision, starting from August 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Smart Aerosol Technologies in 2018. Raliya also held various positions at Indian Farmers Fertiliser Coop Ltd., including General Manager - Nanotechnology and Head of R&D from February 2021 to July 2022, as well as Joint General Manager - Nanofertilizer and Head of R&D from June 2019 to February 2021. Before that, they contributed as a Research Scientist at Washington University in St. Louis from October 2013 to May 2019, focusing on nanotechnology and its applications in energy, environment, agriculture, health, and chemical engineering. Raliya also worked as a Research Associate at ICAR- Indian Council of Agricultural Research from April 2009 to October 2013, specializing in nanotechnology for sustainable agriculture and environment.
Ramesh Raliya completed their school education at Government Public School in Rajasthan, India from 1990 to 2003. Ramesh then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bio Science from Jai Narain Vyas University in Jodhpur in 2006. Following this, they obtained a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the same university in 2008. Raliya then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry and Nano-Biotechnology from Central Arid Zone Research Institute in Jodhpur, India, completing it in 2012. Ramesh later conducted Post Doctoral Research in Nano-Biotechnology at Washington University in St. Louis, USA, until 2013.
