Alan Barnes

Alan Barnes, MBA, is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Lead Financial Analyst at TidalHealth since August 2004. In this role, Alan manages information systems support for all hospital financial departments, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, payroll, human resources, and materials management, while also acting as Project Manager for IT and finance projects, software upgrades, and conversions of financial applications. Previous experience includes positions as Application Support Manager at Wavelength Information Services, Financial Systems Analyst at Shore Health Services, Inc., and Senior Programmer Analyst at Perdue Farms. Alan holds an MBA in Business Administration and a BA in Business Management from Wilmington University, along with an AA in Business Administration and an AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology from Eastern Shore Community College.
