Charu Verma

Charu Verma has work experience as an Ongoing Monitoring Analyst (AML and Financial Crime) at Tide starting in February 2023. In this role, they conduct research on entities and individuals using publicly available information and subscription services. Charu also performs re-screening of clients using software and identifies Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), sanctions connections, and other red flags.

Prior to that, Charu worked as an Officer at Axis Bank from February 2021 to May 2023. In this role, they mitigated customer risks based on customer background profiles. Charu also achieved certifications in Anti Money Laundering & Know Your Customer, CEFR English Level, and AML.

Charu Verma has a diverse education history. Charu completed their Master's degree (M.com) from Indira Gandhi National Open University, starting in 2021 and ending in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Delhi University, where they studied from 2017 to 2021.

Before their university studies, Charu attended Yuvashakti Model School in Rohini, where they completed their Intercollege education from 2015 to 2017. Charu also attended Yuvashakti Model School in Budh Vihar from 2014 to 2015, where they completed their Matriculation degree.

In addition to their formal education, Charu Verma has obtained several certifications. These include certifications from ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) such as "FIGHTING MODERN SLAVERY & HUMANTRAFFICKING PART 2: US SEX & EXPLOITATION CASES," "FIGHTING MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING PART 1," and "PREVENTING ONLINE CHILD EXPLOITATION WITH FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE: AN OVERVIEW." Charu also holds certifications in various other fields such as insurance industry fundamentals, advanced Google Analytics, anti-money laundering and know your customer, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and more.
